The boys won Best Alt acts of MTV EMA.

I knew they would win this, over MUSE, over the Killers, over the Prodigy.

Now some homophobic nuts are getting anxious, how come the PLACEBO gays won this? Fuck you all, it's PLACEBO GAYS won this and that's it, this is life and take it for what its worth.

And this is a victory of LOVE, ppl kept voting hard for cebo and now we got our rewards. we all know that it's gonna kick ass when we were doing that. I'm so fucking proud of being a PLACEBO fan and being part of this.

We all knew that it's gonna be so hard for PLACEBO to win cuz we were facing MUSE n the Killlers who both have the most strong fanbase all over the world. But PLACEBO is the band truly deserves this award. They were breaking back to make BFTS a new peak and yeah they made it that way. For god's sake their efforts should yield a generous reward.

and yes, we made it.

I wore PLACEBO teeshirt to work and the first thing i did at arriving the office was to open my 'spacebaby steffie' see whether placebo made it. XD i almost screamed at the top of my lungs in the office and my colleagues were like "r u 'kay?!"

昨天晚上看到pfww有放出帖子說今天會有ema的這個頒奬。我笑著說，今天上班的時候大概能看到結果了。
果不其然。今天穿了cebo tee心情大好地去上班，第一件事就是開電腦刷cebo是否有獲奬。
其實我們都已經預料到cebo可能會贏，因為muse居然都沒有到場。而cebo則是當晚的表演嘉賓。

但是黨真的真的發生了的時候，我又激動地幾乎要掉眼淚。

在過去的15年里，cebo從來都不是獎項的寵兒，當然這在某種成都上必須要歸結為他們年輕時候vitrolic bravado給人們留下的壞印象, the evilist band in UK⋯⋯而the killers也好，muse也罷，都是紅到能飆last fm前五甚至第一的樂團。所以這一次可以在mtv的獎項上贏過muse，其實還是很值得慶賀的事情。

今天開pfww也震驚了一下，在我睡覺的時候，就這麼個話題，那幫人居然水出了36頁的帖子⋯⋯上帝啊。

頒奬的時候molko感謝歌迷和所有投票的人。我想確實是這樣。這就是愛。真的，一點也不誇張。PLACEBO歐洲各國和澳洲南美的streetteam一直都在不遺餘力地拉票，這一點在facebook跟twitter上尤為顯著，南美那邊streetteam的隊長幾乎每天都要在fb刷上4、5遍vote for PLACEBO for EMA。

每次看到，我也便自動去投個十幾票。

我沒有搞自動投票機，也沒有猛投一小時。但這麼些天陸陸續續不斷地投票，我想多少也是貢獻了一點點。我也有在任何可以說話的地方拜託大家vote for cebo。所以，I'm glad to be part of it.

謝謝所有看到我的帖子為placebo投了票的同學。

就是因為有我們這樣聚沙成塔的存在，cebo最終得到了這個獎，當然，這完全是他們應得的。如果有人膽敢質疑placebo在bfts時期的努力，我估計是要吐血身亡的。

太高興了。

其實我覺得Brian其實是想要抱Stef的。一宣佈placebo他們倆站起身就默契地相視一笑，而興奮溢於言表的Gumpie則一路走在前面⋯⋯嘖嘖，姜果然還是老的辣嘛，在這種時候Molsdal 15年的相濡以沫，在那一次天衣無縫的對視中，盡顯無疑。於是我忍不住想yy了⋯⋯呢。啊，腐女的美好生活。
